This week we have themed all our activities around books.

  

Preschool Little Ladybirds concentrated on the author Julia Donaldson. There were lots of number activities linked to ladybirds and their spots after reading ‘What the Ladybird Heard’. The children made binoculars to hunt for wild animals in the garden and jungle like ‘Monkey Puzzle’ and they loved performing in the circus like the ‘Singing Mermaid’.

 

The Busy Bee Toddlers and Baby Butterflies looked at the ‘That’s not my….’ books. They enjoyed the sensory experience of lots of different textures and media. They loved splashing in the water with ducks and experimenting with messy craft. They played with teddy finger puppets and joined in favourite songs and rhymes linked to the stories.
