Bexley Manor Nursery School and Day Nursery
Having carried out a risk assessment, and written specific procedures for staff to follow during the Covid-19 situation, we successfully re-opened on 1st June.
Subject to continuing government guidance, we intend to re-open fully at the start of next term on September 2nd.
We will continue to update parents regularly by email.
We send best wishes to all children and parents for their safety at this difficult time.
We offer a unique learning and play experience for children aged 3 months to 4 years. Our purpose-designed building is on the borders of Bexley and Sidcup, within walking distance of Albany Park station, at 162, Penhill Road, Bexley, DA5 3EA.
We are open from 7.30-5.30 in term-times only, so you don’t have to pay for unused child-care during school holidays. Our friendly staff are experienced and highly-qualified. You are welcome to make an appointment to look round at any time.
We have separate rooms catering for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, with modern, child-friendly play areas and a kitchen providing meals and snacks for all ages and dietary requirements. We are proud to have a Level 5 Food Hygiene Certificate.
Our daycare facilities provide children with exciting opportunities to play and learn, and we also have beds and cots for those who need a rest from all the activities. Individual children’s needs are catered for in order to maintain their personal routines in accordance with parents’ wishes . Parents are informed of their child’s activities and progress using modern software with confidential email links, so that they can be confident that their child is happy and safe in our setting.
We were delighted to receive a rating of “Good” in our 2018 Ofsted inspection. Key points were “There is an extremely effective settling-in process. As a result, children settle well and show high levels of emotional security. Children are happy, settled and confident. They form warm relationships with staff and each other.
