Bexley Manor Nursery School was established in 1984 by the current Headteacher, a fully qualified infant teacher with more than twenty years experience of teaching in nursery and primary schools. All other members of the staff are either trained teachers, NNEB/NVQ3/BTEC nursery nurses, or have other qualifications relevant to the welfare and education of pre-school children.
The school is situated in Penhill Road, Bexley. There is a small car park for parents to use. We have three purpose-designed classrooms, and a separate large hall for activities such as PE. The classrooms are light and airy and each room is self-contained, having access to toilets and wash-basins directly from the classroom, and with direct access to the outdoor play area. The maximum number of children in each class is 16, with at least two trained staff as well as a part-time qualified teacher in each class. The Nursery also has a part-time SENCO who gives additional help to children with special needs or disabilities and, where appropriate, liaises with speech therapists, educational psychologists, etc.

We are open for 38 weeks a year. This means that parents of children aged 3 or 4 are entitled to the full amount of the government's Early Years Grant. More Information
We also accept Childcare Vouchers in payment of fees. (These vouchers are offered to staff by some employers as a tax-free benefit.)
